Hello, I'm Lisa Lane, an artist with a background in both traditional and graphic arts based in Los Angeles, CA, but am originally from the Midwest.  My focus as an undergrad Art major was drawing and painting, and I'm a certified Art Teacher for grades K-12.

My second love after art was fashion, so I went to graduate school at ISU for my M.S. in Textiles & Clothing, where I learned about designing prints for fashion.  I stayed to teach fashion students another year at the University, and then went on to work in the corporate world to eventually design and manage multi-million dollar brands, and was responsible for bringing in $100M+ in annual sales to JCPenney girl's apparel (Arizona and Total Girl brands).  I then went on to work in the baby bedding industry as a product designer.

In 2015 I started my freelance business, Lisa Lane Designs, where I work with various home, apparel, jewelry, and cosmetic companies, as well as independent designers on repeat prints, graphics, product development, sourcing, trend, branding/marketing materials, and consulting.  I am also open to all licensing opportunities and commissioned work!

Companies I've worked with: JCPenney, Target, Jones New York, Liz Claiborne, Babies R' Us, Buy Buy Baby, Disney, Jonathan Adler, Lucky Star Accessories, Allegro, Design-Options trend, and more.

Designs featured in:  Entertainment Weekly, Life & Style, Us Weekly, OK! Magazine, Nylon, Teen Vogue, and were regularly worn by celebrity's kids (C&C California brand), appeared in the TV show "Desperate Housewives" (child actresses clothing), and the movie "Grown Ups" (2010).
